Suriya's Raktha Charitra Releasing On September 17

'Raktha Charitra' starring Suriya and Vivek Oberoi in the lead roles will hit the big screen on September 17. The Hindi version ‘Raktha Charitra’, which was scheduled to release in August, will now hit the screens on September 17. The film is concurrently made in three versions, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. 'Raktha Charitra' directed by Ram Gopal Varma, has been sold for 4.5 crores (over US $1 million), creating the record.

Suriya has also joined the exclusive ‘Million dollars club of Tamil superstars which includes Rajinikanth ($2.5 million), Kamal Haasan ($1.5 million) and Vijay ($ 1 million). The Hindi version of this movie will be taken in two parts. It is only a single version in Tamil. Surya's role will begin only towards the end of the first part of the film and hence the Tamil version will depict the story from his angle. Music for the movie is scored by Mani Sharma.
